@sebfiedler and Hamburg Uni Press have launched a new open access Journal focusing upon Design-Based Research within education:

EDeR: Educational Design Research

EDeR applies a Triple-Peer-Review approach. This contains three phases and introduces a

Peer-Discussion-Model:

The accepted contribution is handed to an additional reviewer who functions as a Discussant of the original text. Authors can suggest a Discussant to the Journal Editors. However, the Journal Editors reserve the right of final decision on selecting a Discussant. Reviewer III (Discussant) delivers a separate and coherent Discussion Article and is publicly attributed as its author. In principle, several Discussion Articles can be elicited for a particular contribution.
